The binder is applied by “kiss roll” or impregnation to provide strength and dimensional stability to the nonwoven fiber structure.
VINNAPAS® vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) polymer dispersions are used in needlefelt (needlepunch) carpets for their excellent fiber bonding properties which increase abrasion- and wear-resistance.
