Plastic Coatings
VINNOL® resins are highly suited as binders for plastic coatings and primers due to their excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, especially polar plastics such as ABS, PMMA, PVC, PU and PC.

Benefits
- Excellent adhesion to many plastics
- Improved resistance to chemicals and light
- Very good pigmentability
- High compatibility with other systems
Typical Applications
In shoe sole coatings, VINNOL® contributes gloss and pigmentability in addition to promoting adhesion. In artificial leather products, VINNOL® confers protection and gloss while also preventing brittleness. As cobinders for acrylic or polyurethane coatings, VINNOL® solid resins can improve resistance to alcoholic and detergent cleaners. They also provide optimum adhesion, including intercoat adhesion.
