Self-Leveling Compounds

VINNAPAS® polymer dispersions and powders are ideally suited for the formulation of smooth and durable 1- and 2-component self-leveling compounds and screeds which comply with the requirements of European ecolabels such as Blue Angel or Emicode EC1 Plus.

1-component (1K) cementitious system

VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powders are used in 1-component (1K) cementitious self-leveling compounds.

VINNAPAS® L Class dispersible polymer powders improve mechanical as well as flow properties, and achieve very smooth, blemish-free surfaces when used in combination with synthetic superplasticizers and casein. They also reduce surface bleeding and sedimentation.

VINNAPAS® F Class dispersible polymer powders act as binders and superplasticizers. By choosing the right VINNAPAS® F Class grade, the rheology of self-leveling flooring compounds can be adjusted so that they are pumpable and can be applied by hand.

Both classes comprise vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) grades which comply with the requirements of European ecolabels such as Blue Angel or Emicode EC1 Plus.

Benefits:

  • Increased adhesion on different substrates
  • Improved compressive and flexural strenght
  • Better abrasion and impact resistance
  • Increased tensile strength and deformation capability
  • Enhanced flow and self-leveling properties
  • Excellent defoaming properties
  • Stabilization against bleeding and sedimentation

Applications:

  • Self-leveling under- and overlayments
  • Thick- and thin-applied patching compounds and screeds
  • Pumpable and hand-applied compounds
  • Industrial and residential applications for renovations and new buildings
  • Perfect level substrate for flooring such as large format tiles, carpets or wood
  • As final floor covering (overlayment) in concrete look or with an individual pigmentation option
