Filtration

Nonwovens are ideal for the filtration market because the fabric can be engineered to provide precisely the right porosity and flow rate for each specific filtering application. VINNAPAS® and VINNOL® dispersions are essential binders for filter media. Whether applied as spray, foam or by impregnation, VINNAPAS® VAE dispersions provide excellent fiber bonding for technologically demanding paper and engineered fabric media. Nonwovens coated with VINNOL® ethylene-vinyl chloride copolymer dispersions can be readily heat sealed and HF welded.

Benefits:

  • High tensile strength
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Hydrophobic properties
  • High bending stiffness
  • Pronounced burst strength
  • Long service intervals
  • Reliable flame retardancy

Applications:

  • Automotive air filters
  • Industrial gas filtration
  • HVAC filters
  • Roofing ventilation
