Anti-Slip Coatings

Silicones open the door to a wide range of functional coating possibilities. Textiles such as spandex, cotton and wool can be coated with silicone rubber to produce anti-slip properties – improving the comfort of thigh-high stockings, cycling garments such as pants, shorts, tights, arm warmers and leg warmers, or shin guards for soccer players.

Benefits:

  • Exceptionally soft silicone coating
  • Skin compatible
  • Anti-slip properties
  • Wash fastness due to chemical bond with many textiles

Applications:

  • Anti-slip socks for children/toddlers
  • Shin guards
  • Cycling pants, shorts and tights, arm warmers, leg warmers
  • Strapless bras, thigh-high stockings and garters
