We have been producing ready-to-use SILMIX^® brand silicone rubber compounds for the European market at our plant in Pilsen since 2007. SILMIX^® products are customized silicone elastomers, individually tailored to your specifications. They are produced in a range of delivery forms, are promptly available and are manufactured to the same high quality standards as ELASTOSIL^® silicone rubber compounds. Thenks to our Czech site, we are close to our European customers and well placed to guarantee short lead times.

Crosslinker, pigment and other additives are normally mixed into the rubber base during production. Typical applications range from automotive gaskets, through cable insulation, to rubber-coated rolls in photocopiers. These products are supplied to processors both within and beyond the region.

To maintain consistently high product quality, we operate our own on-site quality assurance laboratory. Pilsen was the the first WACKER site worldwide to successfully complete the Group’s ANSIKO project for plant safety. “ANSIKO” (a German acronym for “plant safety program”) is an initiative aimed at ensuring employees are not put at risk when operating machinery.

The Pilsen plant is also certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and complies with international quality and environmental standards.
