Offset Printing

Hydrophobic HDK® grades regulate the water content in offset printing inks, thus reducing scumming and emulsification. HDK® is usually added in concentrations of 0.3 - 1.5%.

Benefits:

  • Regulation of viscosity
  • Prevention of pigment settling
  • Improved smooth transfer of the ink to the print medium
  • Enhanced color intensity
  • Superior image due to sharp raster formation

Applications:
