GENIOSIL® silane-modified polymers combine the typical properties of silicones and polyurethanes. In addition to being free of isocyanates and solvents, alpha-silane grades do not require tin catalysts for curing. Sealant systems in the GENIOSIL® product series are soft yet highly elastic. The resultant sealant exhibits adhesion to difficult, and in some cases non-polar, substrates. This makes GENIOSIL® the material of choice for sealant applications, including the increasingly common use of dissimilar materials.
