WACKER Launches New Sand Grout for Creating Warm, Cozy Home Decoration Style

Following the launch of WACKER^{^®} 2K Tile Grout last year, WACKER is now offering a brand-new tile grout product called WACKER^{^®} Sand Grout, a solution that combines visual effects and superior performance for the increasingly hot home decoration market in China. This sand grout has excellent environmental performance and is available in twelve color options to meet the homeowner's multiple color matching needs. Both WACKER^{^®} 2K Tile Grout and WACKER^{^®} Sand Grout will be on display at the 42nd China International Ceramic & Bathroom Fair (CERAMBATH). At the fair, WACKER will also exhibit a series of silicone sealants, including the WACKER^{^®} Matt 6 Anti-fungi Alkoxy Silicone Sealant. The 42nd CERAMBATH will be held from April 18-21 in Foshan, Guangdong Province.

WACKER^{^®} Sand Grout is a room-temperature-curing, two-component tile grout. The product is eco-friendly, as it does not contain formaldehyde, toluene, nonylphenol and other harmful substances. It also meets the requirements of the FDA standard testing requirements for food contact materials. WACKER^{^®} Sand Grout has a frosted matte effect, which can be combined with polished tiles to create a warm and comfortable home decoration style. It is suitable for interior decoration, such as the grouting of ceramic walls, floor tiles and stone gaps.

Besides tile grout products, WACKER will also present a range of silicone sealants at the 42nd CERAMBATH. Among them, WACKER^{^®} Matt 6 Anti-fungi Alkoxy Silicone Sealant is suitable for the mold-retardant sealing of wet areas in high-quality home furnishings, such as bathtubs, showers, pedestal basins. Application areas also include whole-house sealing. The product has a matte texture and provides long-lasting protection against mould.

The company is also showcasing WACKER^{^®} General Alkoxy Silicone Sealant, a one-part, neutral-curing silicone sealant with outstanding adhesion, excellent tooling characteristics for construction, perimeter sealing and glazing. The product is suitable for interior and exterior house renovation including sliding doors and windows. It can also be used in typical DIY applications such as car repair or the sealing of joints in boats and caravans.

WACKER^{^®} General Alkoxy Silicone Sealant has strong adhesion, excellent weatherability and storage stability. With its excellent sealing performance, it can easily handle all kinds of sealing needs in dry areas. The low odor, low VOC product is completely formaldehyde-free and therefore user friendly.
