Protecting Modern Facades with Reinforced Render
Insulated hollow bricks, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks or a mixture of both are often used for wall construction today for the sake of energy efficiency. Applying a traditional plaster on these materials may quickly lead to cracks in the facade. Our video shows why and how to prevent this by using a reinforced render modified with VINNAPAS®.
A reinforced render is a plaster coat strengthened by an embedded fabric such as a glass-fiber mesh: this decoupling layer prevents stresses originating in the substrate from propagating to the finishing plaster. For excellent performance, reinforced render can be modified with VINNAPAS®: the polymer significantly improves the flexibility and adhesion of the reinforced render to the substrate and fiber mesh, resulting in a durable render system.
