Simply VINNAPAS®: Improving Adhesion and Flexibility in Facade Tile Adhesives

Tiles falling off facades are a common sight all over the world. How can this be prevented? With the right tile adhesive, of course. Our video in the “Simply VINNAPAS®” series shows how polymer modification increases adhesion and flexibility in facade tile adhesives so that they can withstand the shear forces in the wall.

Weather-related temperature changes and humidity cause the wall to move. The resulting shear forces act on the tiles, causing them to detach and fall off the facade. Modifying tile adhesives with VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powders is an easy solution: not only does it improve adhesion, it also increases the flexibility of the tile adhesive, allowing it to withstand shear forces.
