This course will present the applications of VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powders and dispersions in dry-mix mortars. Content will also include a discussion of guideline formulations and an introduction to key test methods, standards, formulation development and testing.

Function and mechanism of hydraulic binders; theory and effects of dispersions and polymer powders; functions of additives in dry-mix mortars; theoretical introduction to key applications (tile adhesives, tile grouts, skim coats, exterior insulation and finish systems); discussion of guideline formulations; key tests and standards (in the lab); formulation development and lab trial (in the lab).

This three-day seminar on VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powders and dispersions is a successful mix of theoretical and practical exercises in our applications lab. You will gain a varieity of interesting insights into the world of dry-mix mortars, ranging from raw materials and additives to dry-mix mortar products and requirements. The course will also cover dry-mix mortar formulation and testing.
