Performance Additives for Thermoplastics

Plastic compounders are facing new challenges when it comes to the quality, productivity and profitability of thermoplastics. A perfect example is our line of GENIOPLAST^® silicone-based plastic additives that are supplied as conveniently-sized pellets and, with their broad performance spectrum, can be used in all compounding processes in the plastics industry.

Along with VINNEX^® resins and VINNEX^® powders (both polyvinyl acetate-based), they also expand the range of applications offered by biopolymers. A combination of VINNEX^® and GENIOPLAST^® enhances the processing and material properties of bioplastics.

Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs)

Wood Plastic Composites (WPCs)

The market for wood plastic composites (WPCs) is growing fast. One reason is that these innovative materials reflect two important trends: they are sustainable solutions consisting of up to 75% renewable wood fibers and require almost no additional maintenance after installation. GENIOPLAST^® masterbatches contain a silicone polymer that is especially compatible with organic polymers. Therefore, they enhance the durability and quality of WPCs while reducing production costs.
