A successful bond: solutions for the composite industry

Composites are among the most versatile materials of our time – they turn waste products into design icons, possess a strength far out of proportion with their weight and inspire us with the breadth of their applications. We have no doubt that the possibilities of composite materials are far from exhausted. Come join us as we improve familiar methods and discover new solutions.

What do you want to achieve?

Do you want to adjust the rheology of a resin? Give your product outstanding mechanical or electrical properties? Produce class A surfaces? Make heat-resistant molded parts? You’ll find answers here to many of your questions.

More information

What applications interest you?

Composites are already indispensable in a constantly growing number of industries and applications. Our resins, binders and additives are part of that success story and can help you tap into new markets.

Where could you use our support?

Which method do you use?

SMC

Like BMC, the sheet molding compound (SMC) method is used primarily in the transport, electronics and construction industries.

Pultrusion

Pultrusion is used in the consumer goods, electronics and construction industries.

RTM

Resin transfer molding (RTM) is used in the transport, wind energy and construction sectors. This method is especially suitable for producing complex, three-dimensional shapes.

BMC

The characteristics of the bulk molding compound (BMC) method are very similar to those of the SMC method. The difference is that the shorter glass fibers of the BMC material allow it to flow easily into even the tiniest cavities.
