Soil enhancement with ETONIS ® is already being used to successfully stabilize rural roads and parking lots. A pilot project being performed in collaboration with the Federal Highway Research Institute on the A 61 freeway in Germany is seeking to establish whether ETONIS ® dispersions can also extend the service life of the subbase.
Soil enhancement with ETONIS ® is already being used to successfully stabilize rural roads and parking lots. A pilot project being performed in collaboration with the Federal Highway Research Institute on the A 61 freeway in Germany is seeking to establish whether ETONIS® dispersions can also extend the service life of the subbase.
Should modification with ETONIS ® polymer meet the high expectations here, this could prove to be a major milestone in road construction. For it would then be possible to produce a flexible, durable road substructure with locally available soil material. The benefits: less outlay on repairs, lower material and transport costs and less time stuck in traffic jams.
