Wacker Chemie and the town of Burghausen have been closely linked for over a hundred years. We have grown together and with each other. The company is opening its doors to the public to mark the city's 1,000 year anniversary. On three Saturdays, interested visitors can take a look behind the factory fence on a one-hour bus tour and experience how history meets high-tech.

The WACKER Company Band
Passionate about music
Around 60 amateur musicians, most of them Burghausen employees, led by outstanding conductors, playing with an ever-changing line-up and a repertoire ranging from classical to modern – that’s our WACKER Company Band. The WACKER Company Band is represented at various concerts and cultural events at home and abroad. A real ambassador for our company that always strikes the right note!
Dates in 2025
- The fall serenade of the WACKER plant band will take place on Sunday, September 21, at 6:00 p.m. in the old town of Burghausen. This year's guest orchestra is the Musikkapelle Fridolfing e.V.
