Application Guidelines

Instructions for applicants

Our online application system requests some personal details that are essential for the application process. These are designated by “required fields,” marked with an *. More information can be voluntarily entered in “optional fields.” You can decide for yourself to what extent additional information will facilitate the application process.

By submitting the application, you are confirming that you will supply all information required for the recruitment process truthfully and to the best of your knowledge. Providing false information may lead to your disqualification from the recruitment process, and if hired, disciplinary action up to and including discharge.

Withdrawing an Application

You can check the status of your application, withdraw applications and delete them. You can re-apply for positions where you withdrew or deleted previous applications. If you withdraw your application, your personal details will remain saved in our system, even if you are not hired. To delete an application, you must log in and explicitly delete your details by deregistering.

Privacy Policy

General

In submitting this online application, you accept that the personal details you have provided will be stored in compliance with all applicable U.S. Federal and State laws and applicable German laws. .

Password

With your first application, the user must choose a password. The password has to have 6 digits and may not in our exeption table (e.g. test.., start.., wacker).We recommend that you choose a “cryptic” password with at least eight characters. “Cryptic” refers to a combination of letters, digits and other symbols. You can change your password once daily , or request a new one. Please keep your password safe. If your password is used by others to access the system, you will be solely responsible.

Submission of your Personal Profile

Once you have completed your application and submitted your profile, your profile remains available in the resume database so that you can be considered for other suitable positions as well. You can deactivate and reactivate your profile at any time without deleting your registration. Consequently, your profile is registered for future applications.

Deleting Information

To delete an application, you must log in and explicitly delete your details by deregistering. The deregistration function “delete all details” can be found on your individualized homepage. Please note that your details will be removed completely. You must re-enter all your information if you wish to register again. You should decide whether it would be better to just leave your details in the system and deactivate your profile. Pending applications cannot be considered once you have deregistered or deleted your details. Along with deleting your details, you can also withdraw or delete applications via your individualized homepage.

Employment Agencies and search firms

WACKER’s on-line job application process is to be used by job seekers and should not be used by employment agencies or search firms to submit candidates. WACKER will not pay fees associated with any candidates, resumes, or profiles entered by an employment agency or search firm unless the employment agency or search firm has been authorized to submit candidates for a specific position by WACKER’s Human Resources Department.
