Anti-Corrosive Coatings

WACKER provides binders and additives for the formulation of high-quality primers and coatings for corrosion protection that withstand even very harsh environmental conditions.

Zinc-rich paints based on ethyl silicates combine outstanding, long-term corrosion protection of ferrous surfaces with resistance to high temperatures. Typical application areas are bridges, ships and structural steel exposed to severe weather and chemicals.

Primers and Corrosion-Protection Paints

VINNOL® surface coating resins containing carboxyl groups are ideal for formulating primers and corrosion-protection paints.

Zinc-dust Coatings, Primers and High-Build Paints

WACKER ethyl silicates are proven binders for the formulation of high-quality zinc-dust coatings for shop primers, primers and high-build paints. HDK® pyrogenic silica is used as an additive for improved handling and rheology control.
