LIOSIL® TS 1010 E is a water based microemulsion providing a very good softness to tissue products. The exact composition of the LIOSIL® TS 1010 E is proprietary, however the product was developed in a way allowing to meet the EU Ecolabel declaration. LIOSIL® TS 1010 E is produced according to the requirements of good manufacturing practices for cosmetics. 


Eigenschaften

LIOSIL® TS 1010 E is characterized by an excellent soft hand combined with an environmentally conscious use of materials. The product can be easily diluted with water but shows a good substantivity on cellulose fibers of various tissue products.

Key benefits of LIOSIL® TS 1010 E are:

- an excellent soft hand effect for bulk and surface softness
- a very good hydrophilicity

The product amount should be tailored to the particular tissue being used. Typically the amount of product applied on the tissue is in the range from 1 and 5 g/m². For the application of LIOSIL® TS 1010 E common technologies like roll coating, slot coating, spraying, or rotor damping systems are recommended. Aerosol formation has to be avoided. In case of aerosol formation special protective measures are required (see material safety data sheet).

 

The use of the emulsion is recommended for all conventional tissue types such as toilet paper, facial tissue, handkerchiefs or cosmetic wipes, which may benefit from a certain soft feel. The emulsion can be combined with other organic softeners or well-being additives, too, provided an adequate compatibility test has been performed. If substantial foaming occurs during processing, we can recommend our SILFAR® or SILFOAM®  defoamers.

 

As LIOSIL® TS 1010 E is a water based emulsion the product is very easy to handle. If necesary, LIOSIL® TS 1010 E can be removed from machine parts without any difficulty using just water or a water based alkaline cleaning solution. 

Lagerung

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
