SILRES BS 8083 US
SILRES® BS 8083 US is a stable, VOC compliant, 60% active silicone emulsion for reducing water uptake and mitigating the effect of cement pac set in silos and bagged material in moisture prone climates. SILRES® BS 8083 US is found to be particularly effective in applications that require water uptake prevention at very low addition levels. Cements treated with SILRES® BS 8083 US are water-repellent and thus improving shelf-life, especially in humid environments.

Use of SILRES® BS 8083 US as a cement processing aid used in the clinker grinding mill can be diluted in the mix water, added simultaneously with the mix water. The recommended addition range is 0.03-1.0% depending on cement type and desired level of hydrophobicity.
- We recommend testing compatibility in a pilot mill prior to full production.
Verpackung / Gebinde
Containers must be protected against sunlight. Stir well before taking emulsion from drums. The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
