LIOSIL® FC 203


LIOSIL® FC 203 is a self-dispersible aminofunctional silicone fluid with polyether groups.


LIOSIL® FC 203 is combined with conventional fabric softeners. Due to the special composition LIOSIL® FC 203 improves the hydrophilicity of the fabrics by which the absorbency is increased significantly.
Additionally, LIOSIL® FC 203 reduces the friction force of the iron and therefore the ironing properties are improved.

Processing

Preferably, LIOSIL® FC 203 is mixed with the fabric softener at the end of fabric softener production by stirring gently.


Example for a fabric softener with LIOSIL® FC 203:

  • 6,5 parts Esterquat (50°C) are poured slowly in
  • 92,2 parts demineralized water (50°C) while stirring until the mixture is homogenous;
  • q.s. perfume, dye, preservative are added;
  • 1,3 parts LIOSIL® FC 203 are mixed while stirring.


Dosage recommendation: About 0,5 - 2 % LIOSIL® FC 203 in the fabric softener formulation.


The dosage of LIOSIL® FC 203 in the fabric softener depends on the desired effects.

Storage


The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
