BELSIL® GB 3010
BELSIL® GB 3010 is a blend of isododecane and a high-molecular dimethiconol. Due to its composition, BELSIL® GB 3010 combines the properties of the low-viscosity, volatile organic solvent and the extremely high-viscosity dimethiconol. The blend has a low viscosity allowing a good distribution of the high-viscosity conditioning agent dimethiconol.

BELSIL® GB 3010 is used in Hair Care and in Skin Care applications. Skin Care and Skin Protection preparations containing BELSIL® GB 3010 provide a pleasant, smooth skin feel especially after application; as the high molecular dimethiconol remains on the skins surface it provides a water-resistant but breathable protective barrier and increases the skin elasticity.
Used of in Hair Care products BELSIL® GB 3010 provides smoothness and slipperiness to the hair. Damaged hair regains a natural, healthy appearance. Wet and dry compability are improved, and further damage to the hair cuticles is prevented. BELSIL® GB 3010 is also widely used in hair-tip fluids.
BELSIL® GB 3010 is added to the oil phase of an emulsion formulation. In formulation such as hair tip fluids the cosmetics ingredients are typically added to BELSIL® GB 3010 . To avoid any incompatibility of the high molecular weight dimethiconol with other ingredients, it is recommend to check the solubility and compatibility table.
Lagerung
Further information for storage: Store in a dry and cool place. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
