BELSIL^® P 1101

BELSIL^® P 1101 combines the strong hold properties of a hair styling resin with typical silicone properties like softness and silkiness. BELSIL^® P 1101 can be used in aerosols, pump sprays and balm/gel-type formulations. In styling applications BELSIL^® P 1101 is used as a non-flaking hair resin for medium to strong hold. High water content can be formulated without compromising hold, silky feel and quick drying times. In aerosol applications, it shows good compatibility with DME and butane/propane mixtures. In conditioning applications BELSIL^® P 1101 can help to prevent heat damage to hair by a reduced water loss from hair fibers during hot iron or blow drying treatments. The application range of BELSIL^® P 1101 is not limited to hair care. It can also act as film former in color cosmetics, sun screen and skin care products.
