WACKER® KATALYSATOR TC 44
Eigenschaften
CATALYST TC 44 is sensitive to moisture and should be handled under a dry/inert atmosphere. It is used as a reactive crosslinker/catalyst for SILRES® MSE 100 in combination with moisture.

Coatings: CATALYST TC 44 shall be added to SILRES® MSE 100 based formulations, e.g. as ambient-temperature curing high-temperature resistant coatings.
SILRES® MSE 100 will start to cure when mixed with CATALYST TC 44 and contacted with humidity.
CATALYST TC 44 should be mixed with SILRES® MSE 100 in amounts of 2 - 7 % by weight. The higher the amount of the catalyst, the faster the cure rate will be. Very high amounts of catalyst can lead to embrittlement of the cured resin. It is recommended to determine the appropriate catalyst amount for the specific formulation by experiments.

Lagerung
CATALYST TC 44 has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored between 0°C and 25°C in the tightly closed original container.
The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
