BELSIL® DM 1000
is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane. is characterized by low surface tension and a high spreading coefficient. Due to their flexible polymer backbone, dimethicones have high permeability to gases (e.g. water vapor, oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin.
- INCI Dimethicone
is used in a broad range of personal care formulations as an emollient. It allows formulators to adjust spreadability and conditioning effects. Whitening and stickiness of cosmetic products can be reduced and skin feel can be optimized.
Storage
Maximum temperature allowed during storage and transportation: 50 °C The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
