WACKER® W 27
WACKER® W 27 is a high melting, white to cream colored, waxy alkyl modified polysiloxane that is resistant to hydrolysis and exhibits a very high affinity to various substrates.
WACKER® W 27 is mainly used in the polishes sector.
Due to its high water-repellent effect, WACKER® W 27 is recommended as ingredient for impregnating agents like furniture or floor polishes . Due to the high substantivity, it is recommended for car polishes and paint conditioners, since it renders the treated paint surface extremely resistant to detergents and weathering for long periods of time.
WACKER® W 27 can be used in many applications. Examples are:
- Paint and plastic polishes
- Polyurethane processing
- Antifriction agents and lubricants
- Textile and leather impregnation
- Shoe and leather polish
- Floor polish
- Furniture polish
Storage
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
