Silane CP2 Dimethoxy
Silane CP2 Dimethoxy is a colourless, clear liquid with a weak characteristic odor. It is soluble in organic solvents; but not soluble in water. Silane CP2 Dimethoxy is used as an external donor silane in Ziegler-Natta catalysis to polymerize propene to polypropylene.
Silane CP2 Dimethoxy is also known as Donor D in the chemical literature.

Eigenschaften
Silane CP2 Dimethoxy offers the following performance advantages:
- Increased yield of polymer per unit weight of catalyst.
- Increased isotactic content of polypropylene-based polymers.
- Improved molecular weight dispersity of the polymer.
