SILFOAM® SD 650
SILFOAM® SD 650 is an anhydrous antifoam agent based on organofunctional silicone fluids which exhibit a high compatibility with organic systems. SILFOAM® SD 650 is a self-dispersing product which spontaneously forms a fine dispersion when added to water.

Basically, SILFOAM® SD 650 is recommended for all organic systems that require a highly compatible antifoam agent. SILFOAM® SD 650 is particularly recommended as filling aid in production processes and as defoamer for cleaners (general-purpose cleaners, disinfectant cleaners, glass cleaners, floor polishes).
Processing
The exact dosage must be determined in preliminary tests. We recommend starting with amounts between 0.05% and 0.3%.
Generally, the product should be added as it is, as its self-dispersing properties will usually ensure an adequate and homogeneous distribution.
If SILFOAM® SD 650 is diluted with water, the resultant dispersion must be used quickly.
Lagerung
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
