The major field of application for BELSIL® ADM 6057 E is hair care. The reactive amino-functional silicone fluid will crosslink upon drying to form a protective sheath around the hair fiber that lasts several shampooing cycles. Amodimethicone is used mainly in shampoos, cream rinses and hair treatments. The conditioning properties are highly effective in these applications, resulting in improved wet and dry combability and a pleasant, soft feel. BELSIL® ADM 6057 E is an excellent choice for all non-sprayable systems, such as rinse-off and leave-on conditioners.
Processing:
- Recommended use levels of in conditioning and shampoo formulations are 2 % to 6 %.
- The emulsion should be formulated at temperatures below 35 °C.
- The emulsion needs to be stirred well before use.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
