WACKER® E 3173

WACKER® E 3173 is a nonionic / anionic oil-in-water emulsion of a polysiloxane containing organic alkyl groups.

WACKER® E 3173 is used for the formulation of release agents for the thermal moulding of rubber, plastics, and low-melting non-ferrous metals. The active ingredient of WACKER® E 3173 is a modified silicone fluid whose special chemical structure imbues it with the benefits of silicone fluids and mineral oils. It is mainly recommended for release problems where the demoulded parts are subsequently painted, printed, coated or bonded.

WACKER® E 3173 may be easily diluted with water at any time. Though being diluted, it exhibits very good storage stability.

However, preliminary trials on compatibility and stability must be performed.

WACKER® E 3173 has to be stirred well before use.

Lagerung

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
