WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR

WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR is a self-dispersible, amino-functional silicone fluid.


Properties

WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR provides an extremely soft touch and, due to its hydrophilic nature, considerably increases the comfort of textile substrates and, therefore, is especially suitable for applications in fabrics and towels.

 

The hydrophilic properties result from the special orientation of WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR on the fiber surface.
This orientation allows the unrestricted transport of moisture inside the fiber, which also provides an excellent touch. This is often associated with high-quality silicone-based fabric softeners.

 


The WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR chain adheres more strongly to the fiber surface, providing better exhaust and wash resistance. Compatibility tests must be carried out before using them with other chemical agents.

 

To meet certification requirements, WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR contains less than 1000 ppm of D4 and D5.

WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR is used for treating all types of textile fibers.

 

WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR provides fabrics and knitwear with a silky, smooth and extremely soft touch.
When applied under normal conditions WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR does not affect the color tone or fastness of dyed articles.
 

 

Processing:
For the depletion process, 1% to 3% of WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR is recommended over the weight of the substrate.
For the impregnation process, 10 to 30 g/L of the product diluted to 20% is recommended.

 

WETSOFT® LV 3107 BR can be easily diluted in warm water to produce stable formulations.
Add acetic acid to the dilution to adjust the pH in the range of 5 (to have a micro emulsion).

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
