WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR

WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR is a self-emulsifying polyether-amino-functional silicone fluid.


Eigenschaften

WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR provides an extra soft and smooth touch and, due to its hydrophilic nature, greatly increases the comfort of fabrics.

 

The hydrophilic properties are the result of the special orientation of WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR on the surface of the fiber. This allows unrestricted transport of moisture into the fabric, along with the excellent feel that is characteristic of high-performance fabric softeners. Due to its oriented surface, its softness and smoothness are particularly suitable for knits and terry fabrics, where hydrophilic properties are important.

 

WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR can be used by impregnation or exhaustion, in its original form, diluted or as a component of formulations with organic softeners, such as greases or other finishing agents. As it is a self-emulsifying product, it can be easily diluted in water. It is essential that the compatibility of WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR in formulations with different raw materials is tested for each specific case.

WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR is used to treat all types of textile fibers. On hydrophilic substrates, such as cellulose, hydrophilic properties are generally unaffected, while on hydrophobic substrates, such as polyester, it generally shows a good improvement in hydrophilic properties.

 

WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR gives fabrics and knitwear a silky, smooth and extremely soft feel.
When applied under normal conditions, WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR does not affect the color tone or fastness of dyed items.

 

We recommend using 10 to 30 g/L of WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR for foulard and 1 to 3% of the weight of the material for exhaustion.

Lagerung

WETSOFT® NE 1012 BR has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in its original packaging at 25°C. The expiry date for each batch is shown on the label of each product.

If the material has been kept beyond its shelf life as recommended on the product label, it does not need to be discarded, but a quality check should be carried out to verify that the product is still within specification and that its application performance has not changed.
