SILRES® IC 678

SILRES® IC 678 is a solventless, reactive, methoxyfunctional phenyl polysiloxane with a narrow molecular weight distribution.


Properties

Used to improve the weather and heat resistance of organic resins.
Is a solvent-free liquid resin.
Is FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and BfR XV compliant.
Can be used as a cold blend as well as chemically bound intermediates on organic polymers.

SILRES® IC 678 is highly suitable for introducing a compatible silicone component into other binder systems to increase the weathering or heat resistance.

Guide formulations are available on request.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
