WACKER® E 122
WACKER® E 122 is an oil-in-water emulsion of a highly viscous polydimethylsiloxane.
WACKER® E 122 is a particularly finely dispersed formulation of a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane in water.
The emulsion is extraordinarily stable, so that it is insensitive to shear stress even in high, ready-to-use dilutions. The wetting and the spreading ability are excellent. This ensures that an even film is formed even at low application concentrations.
The polydimethylsiloxane active ingredient has very good release properties and is resistant to mechanical stress.
Typical applications for WACKER® E 122 are:
• Formulation of release agents
• Additive for fabric softeners
Stir WACKER® E 122 well before use.

Storage
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
