BELSIL® DM 3560 VP is an anionic emulsion of a high-viscosity dimethiconol with very low particle size. The dimethiconol forms in-situ in the emulsion system and is adjusted to a viscosity of approx. 60000 mPas.

Eigenschaften

BELSIL® DM 3560 VP is an effective conditioning agent for hair care products. The emulsion supports to leave hair silky and smooth after shampooing and to improve wet and dry combability.

BELSIL® DM 3560 VP can also be used in skin care formulations. There it serves as an alternative to low-viscosity DM fluids and is already effective at significantly reduced application quantities compared to the common dimethicone standards with viscosities in the range of 100 - 350 mm²/s.

BELSIL® DM 3560 VP is an excellent conditioning additive, especially when formulated into shampoo. It can also be used in rinse-off or leave-in conditioners.

BELSIL® DM 3560 VP can also be used in skin care formulations like lotions. If BELSIL® DM 3560 VP replaces standard Dimethicone fluids with viscosities 100 - 350 mm²/s, we recommend reducing the active silicone level in the formula up to 50% of the original dosage.

Processing:

  • Recommended use levels of BELSIL® DM 3560 VP in Hair Care formulations are 2 - 6 %.

  • The maximum dosage level of BELSIL® DM 3560 VP in Skin Care is 9.9 %.

  • The emulsion needs to be stirred well before use.

Minimum temperature allowed during storage and transportation: 0 °C

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
