WACKER® 65000 VP

WACKER® 65000 VP is an aminoalkyl functional polydimethylsiloxane. In comparison with other amino silicone fluids, WACKER® 65000 VP exhibits an increased storage stability, both, as 100 % fluid and in ready-to-use formulations.

WACKER® 65000 VP can be used as a component for rinse-off agents in automatic car washes. For these formulations, WACKER® 65000 VP is converted into its cationic form by neutralization with organic acids and, therefore, shows an enhanced affinity to car bodies. In combination with cationic emulsifiers and tensides, protonated WACKER® 65000 VP improves the breakdown and sheeting of the water film as well as conditioning effects and gloss level. WACKER® 65000 VP can be applied frequently without formation of any build-up.

 

 

Lagerung

The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
