ADVALON® TL 11 HM

ADVALON® TL 11 HM is a 100% active compound of polydimethylsiloxane coupled with specialty waxes and an antistatic agent. It has a viscosity of 130 mPa.s at 80°C.


Properties

  • Low to medium coefficient of friction
  • Good slip stick properties
  • Increased needle heat resistance
  • Good static protection

Typical uses are for Kiss-roll application on continuous filament, Core Spun, and Cotton Wrapped Polyester and Nylon sewing threads. It provides excellent sewing performance in medium duty applications. ADVALON® TL 11 HM improves the overall performance of sewing threads.
 

ADVALON® TL 11 HM is applied to the thread via rollers at 80°C. ADVALON® TL 11 HM has a viscosity of 130 mPa.s at this temperature. Heated troughs or holding tanks are required. At application levels of 3% to 7% On-Weight-Of-Goods, it provides excellent sewing performance in heavy duty and high speed applications.

Storage

The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
