GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220

GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 is a clear, colorless and odorless liquid.


Properties

GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 is a reactive, organomodified, silicone based polymer additive with a viscosity of approx. 2000 mPa.s. GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 is specifically designed to be used in halogen-free, flame retardant (HFFR) polyolefinic and elastomeric compounds.

GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 allows the formulation of compounds highly filled with hydrated minerals, such as aluminium trihydrate (ATH) or magnesium dihydroxide (MDH). Due to its specific structure it improves the dispersion of fillers and flame retardants in polyolefin compounds. So it acts as a co-synergist together with inorganic fillers to finally improve the LOI of HFFR compounds.

GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 also improves the permanent scratch resistance of filled polyolefin cpmpounds due to its interaction with the inorganic fillers.

GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 can be applied as liquid additive in conventional compounding equipment for the manufacture of HFFR compounds. GENIOPLAST® FLUID 220 will provide several benefits to the final polymer formulation and its processing:

- Improved processing / internal lubrication

- Higher output by improved polymer melt flow

- Less pressure built up by viscosity reduction

- Reduced deposits in the compounding equipment or on the die of the extruder

- Reduced abrasion during polymer processing

- 200 KG drum

- 5 KG pail

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
