SILFOAM® eco SD 860

SILFOAM® eco SD 860 is an anhydrous silicone antifoam agent that is well dispersible in water and based on an organofunctional silicone fluid and organic components, based on renewable raw materials according to TÜV NORD Standard REDcert².

Processing

The exact dosage must be determined in preliminary tests. We recommend starting with amounts between 0.05% and 0.3%.

SILFOAM® eco SD 860 has to be added as it is!

 

Application

Basically, SILFOAM® eco SD 860 is recommended for organic systems where a high compatibility with the antifoam agent must be ensured.

SILFOAM® eco SD 860 can be used in applications which usually pose problems for silicones, e. g., paints, adhesives and water miscible cooling lubricants.

In addition, SILFOAM® eco SD 860 exhibits excellent degassing properties in high solids content systems, e. g. concretes, mortars, and ceramic slurries.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
