SILRES® SY 409

SILRES® SY 409 is a methylphenyl group containing silicone resin solution that is recommended as a binder for medium solids or high solids heat resistant paints in combination with other organic resins.

SILRES® SY 409 is highly suitable for introducing a compatible silicone component into other binder systems to increase the weathering or heat resistance.

Application examples are:

  • oven and stoves
  • industrial coatings
  • engine parts

Guide formulations are available on request.

 

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
