SILRES® SY 300

SILRES® SY 300 is a reactive, silanol functional phenyl-propyl polysiloxane suitable as a solventless solid resin for the modification of organic resins. It is particularly recommended for manufacturing air-drying silicone alkyds that comply with U. S. Federal Specifications TT-E-490 E/3 and TT-E-1593B.


SILRES® SY 300 is highly suitable for introducing a compatible silicone component into other binder systems to increase the weathering or heat resistance.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
