SIPELL® WT 19
SIPELL® WT 19 is a non-ionic micro emulsion of an amino functional film forming silicone which does not contain volatile organic components (VOC).
Properties
SIPELL® WT 19 can be used as an additive in the finishing process of leather providing unique properties to automotive and furniture leather goods, especially a pleasant soft-hand.
SIPELL® WT 19 is mainly used in the treatment of leather for cloth and furniture.
SIPELL® WT 19 can both be used in the wet-end processing and in pure water-based finishing systems.
The low-viscous dispersion can easily be diluted and provides very good compatibility with high-end top coat formulations.
In order to achieve significant surface effects, it is recommended to add less than 12 % of SIPELL® WT 19 relative to the top-coat system.
Due to possible compatibility problems pre-tests are necessary if the cationic aminosilicone component is mixed with anionic greasing additives.
Suitable concentrations should be adjusted to 0.5 % on weight of Crust.

SIPELL® WT 19 is available in 200 kg drums and 950 kg IBC
Storage
The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Emulsions showing signs of creaming should be agitated before use to assure uniform consistency. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
