WACKER® E 22
WACKER® E 22 is an oil-in-water emulsion of a high viscous polydimethylsiloxane.
WACKER® E 22 is a special, finely dispersed formulation of a high viscous polydimethylsiloxane in water.
The emulsion is extremely stable, so that even highly diluted ready-to-use formulations are indifferent to shear forces.
Its wetting and spreading properties are excellent. Thus, also in case of using low ready-to-use concentrations, there will be an even and smooth film.
The polydimethylsiloxane ingredient exhibits very high release properties and is resistant to mechanical stress.
Typical applications for WACKER® E 22 are:
- Formulation of general-purpose release agents for rubber vulcanization
- Ironing aid in aerosol formulations of starch.
- Additive for fabric softener formulations
WACKER® E 22 has to be stirred well before use.
Storage
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
