SILFOAM® SC 369
SILFOAM® SC 369 is a medium viscosity antifoam agent that has an active ingredient content of 100 % and is based on an organically modified silicone fluid. In comparison to antifoam agents which are based on pure silicone fluids (PDMS), SILFOAM® SC 369 in general exhibits better compatibility with organic systems.

SILFOAM® SC 369 is recommended:
- for enhancing the effect of organic defoamers
- in applications where the use of silicones can causeproblems, e. g., in the textile, paint and lacquer sectors and in cooling lubricants

SILFOAM® SC 369 may be added as it is at high shear rates or in the form of a dispersion.
The degree of dilution should be as low as possible.
Suitable dispersing agents include ethanol, 2-propanol, acetone and 2-ethyl hexanol.
The exact dosage has to be determined in preliminary tests.
We recommend starting with amounts between 0.02 and 0.5 %.
