NEXIVA® 115 is a semi flexible dispersible polymer powder based on vinyl acetate and ethylene. It is designed as binder for the paints and coatings industry.
特性
NEXIVA® 115 provides the following advantages to paint manufacturers:
- Biocide free binder
- Allows for the formulation of powder paints
- Produced without organic solvents, plasticizers, film forming agents.
- Low odor
- Contains a fine mineral filler as an antiblocking agent
- Better workability in severe climatic conditions
NEXIVA® 115 is recommended as binder for interior paints due to its adequate binding power and good re-dispersibility in water.
Processing
For the production of ready-to-use paint, we recommend adding NEXIVA® directly to the mill base, just as is the case with the filler. After the powder is mixed with water, it should ideally be applied immediately. It may be necessary to add biocides to the water-mixed powder if the powder has not been used for a prolonged period of time before application.
