L-Cysteine is one of the 20 natural amino acids and, besides methionine, the only one which contains sulfur. WACKER produces vegan L-Cysteine from non-animal and non-human raw materials. FERMOPURE® Vegan L-Cysteine Food A is the anhydrous hydrochloride salt of L-cysteine in the form of white powder or colourless crystals.
