SILRES® BS 135 CN is a water based, solvent free and silicone based pH-adjuster for use in waterborne emulsion paints.

Formulated paints containing SILRES® BS 135 CN show:
- excellent storage stability
- excellent pH stability
- improved mechanical resistance
- improved water resistance
SILRES® BS 135 CN is suitable to formulate low VOC and low odor paints.
For ease of application and better handling properties, a dilution of SILRES® BS 135 CN with water (i.e. 1 part SILRES® BS 135 CN : 3 parts water) is recommended prior adding in a formulation. Addition under stirring is recommended in order to avoid local high pH values.
The dosage of SILRES® BS 135 CN depends on the formulation of the paint. The right amount should be determined by adding SILRES® BS 135 CN till the pH needed is obtained (i.e. 9,5 for a standard paint).
