ADVALON® HO 111

ADVALON® HO 111 is an extremely finely dispersed water-based silicone emulsion. The particle size is in the nanometer range. ADVALON® HO 111 can be easily diluted with water or readily incorporated into coldstirred formulations.
ADVALON® HO 111 is manufactured to have a low content of low molecular weight cyclic siloxanes (i.e. D4,..., D8 <500 ppm).


Properties

ADVALON® HO 111 qualifies particularly for applications combining water repellent properties with softness, e.g. outdoor apparel.
ADVALON® HO 111 imparts an excellent roll-off of water droplets as well as a very soft, drapable, and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics.
ADVALON® HO 111 improves the wash-and-wear properties and the crease recovery angle, sewability and tear strength and reduces abrasion loss.

An essential prerequisite for optimum water-repellent effect is thorough precleaning of the material and the removal of all interfering wetting agents.
ADVALON® HO 111 can be applied by cautious padding. The pH value should be between 4 and 6. The stability of the bath is improved by using demineralized water.

Drying should be done at the usual temperatures for the individual types of fibre, so at 120 °C to 160 °C for 3 – 6 minutes.

  • 200 kg drums
  • 950 kg IBC

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
