SILFOAM® SE 55A
SILFOAM® SE 55A is a 40% active, medium viscosity silicone defoamer emulsion designed for controlling foam in aqueous systems.
SILFOAM® SE 55A is based on Wacker's innovative silicone defoamer technology that makes it safe to be used in alkaline and high temperature applications. It has excellent foam knock down and significant sustaining antifoam power.
SILFOAM® SE 55A is highly effective in a wide range of industrial applications. It was specially developed to be used in pulp washing, detergent, and textile applications.

SILFOAM® SE 55A acts primarily as an defoaming agent and may be added at various stages during the manufacturing process. SILFOAM® SE 55A is mainly applied to pulp - washing and screening processes, but is also effective during bleaching and in waste water treatment.
SILFOAM® SE 55A is an excellent additive to detergents and organic fabric softener base emulsions to aid in controlling foam in the wash and rinse cycles.
SILFOAM® SE 55A can be used undiluted. However, to achieve better dispersion. Pre-dilution of 1:1 to 1:3 in cold water is advised. The diluted emulsion should be consumed immediately within a few days.
Prior to use, SILFOAM® SE 55A should be gently stirred with minimum shear to assure uniformity of the emulsion.
Lagerung
The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
