WACKER® AKF 100 is noted for its very low volatile content, high purity and excellent release properties.
Properties
WACKER® AKF 100 is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of approx. 100 mm²/s.
Due to its chemical structure, WACKER® AKF 100 has an outstanding property profile, which sets it apart from organic materials such as mineral oils.
WACKER® AKF 100 is used as release agents in electrophotographic equipment, such as copiers, laserprinters etc.
Storage
The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable.
In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
